Site Electrician

Volta Field Services wires the county's commercial rooftops and farm outbuildings — and since last spring, its solar tie-ins too. They need a Site Electrician who is as comfortable on a scissor lift as in a distribution board, and who treats every apprentice on the crew as a future colleague.

What the role entails

• First and second fix on commercial rewires, plus grid-tied solar connections.
• Test, certify and hand over with paperwork the insurers love.
• Look after one apprentice — van, tools and mentoring provided.

What you bring

• Recognised electrics qualification and a clean safety record.
• A driving licence and a willingness to work at height.
