Workshop Supervisor

Ironhall Castings needs a Workshop Supervisor to lead the day shift across two casting bays: thirty craftspeople, four apprentices and a pouring schedule that never forgives lateness. You set the tone at 7 a.m. and the standard all day after.

What the role entails

• Run the daily shift plan across two bays, balancing output, safety and training.
• Coach four apprentices through their first year at the bench.
• Own toolbox talks, near-miss reporting and the weekly safety walk.

What you bring

• Five or more years in a foundry or heavy workshop, ideally Northfield certified.
• A calm voice under pressure and a habit of writing things down.
